Tom is inspired by the masters of the crime genre, from Anthony Horowitz to Agatha Christie. Tom has always loved mystery stories. Growing up he read “Harry Potter” and “Diamond Brothers” by Anthony Horowitz. He would watch “Scooby Doo” on Saturday mornings and “Midsomer Murders” on Sunday afternoons. Tales that involved curious clues, a huge cast of shifty suspects, and giant rug pull at the end would pull him right in. however he didn’t actually ever read any of Agatha Christie’s work until he began writing his own murder mystery. “A Fatal Crossing” began as a play. He was in 6th form at the time, and the idea was to write something that he could perform with his friends.
