About Robert Barron
Robert began reading the works of Thomas Aquinas when he was just a freshman at Fenwick High School, this private Dominican high school. He transferred to a private Benedictine high school, Benet Academy, where he graduated in 1977. Robert went to the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, for a year before he transferred to Mundelein Seminary located in Mundelein, Illinois. A year later, he got accepted at the School of Theology of the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC as a Basselin Scholar, where he earned his Bachelor of Philosophy degree in 1981 and a Master of Philosophy degree in the year 1982; with his master’s thesis being on Karl Marx’s political philosophy.
