He has also worked on “Primeval,” the science fiction series on ITV, where he was portrayed as James Lester. While his grandfather worked in tailoring, Rose Elizabeth Lincoln his paternal grandmother used to work as a lecturer of English at a local college. By 1989, he found work with “Footlights” where he worked with Sue Perkins, David Wolstencroft, and Andy Parsons. Following this success, they were invited to come up with a show that would become “Armstrong and Miller,” which ran on Channel 4 and Paramount Comedy Channel. The two were also offered and ran another show under the same name on BBC Radio 4 in 1998 with many of the characters and sketches from the TV show.
