Zach Weinersmith is an American published author and illustrator and is known for being a cartoonist. He was born with the full name of Zachery Alexander Weiner. The cartoonist is recognized by many for authoring the web comic Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, or SMBC for short. He has also penned two other different web comics. These include Captain Stupendous with Chris Jones and Snowflakes, which was co-written with James Ashby and was illustrated by Chris Jones. Weinersmith is also a founder of SMBC Theater, a sketch comedy group. It was established by Zach as well as James Ashby and Marty Weiner in 2009. He has been writing comics and drawing them ever since he was in high school. The first time that he published on the Internet was in the late 1990s.
