The cartoonist is recognized by many for authoring the web comic Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal, or SMBC for short. He has also penned two other different web comics. These include Captain Stupendous with Chris Jones and Snowflakes, which was co-written with James Ashby and was illustrated by Chris Jones. Weinersmith is also a founder of SMBC Theater, a sketch comedy group. It was established by Zach as well as James Ashby and Marty Weiner in 2009.
