Tracy Grant

Tracy Grant is American author of mystery, historical fiction, and mystery romance novels. Grant also writes under the name Teresa Grant. For as long as she can recall, Tracy Grant claims to have been making up stories and putting them on paper.

The best place to start is the Lescaut/Vaughan Quartet series, the earliest of Tracy Grant's multi-book series: it opens with Dark Angel (1994) and runs to 4 books across 1994–1998, ending with Rightfully His (1998). Tracy Grant's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Tracy Grant has 49 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1988 and 2026. 39 of them belong to 3 named series — the largest being the Rannoch Fraser Mysteries series with 33 books — and 10 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Tracy Grant's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Lescaut/Vaughan Quartet (1994–1998, 4 books), Mary Kingsley Collections (1994–2002, 2 books) and Rannoch Fraser Mysteries (2002–2026, 33 books).

This guide splits Tracy Grant's 49 books into 3 named series and 10 titles that stand alone or appear only in collections: Rannoch Fraser Mysteries (33 books, 2002–2026); Lescaut/Vaughan Quartet (4 books, 1994–1998); Mary Kingsley Collections (2 books, 1994–2002).
