Tom Deady is a horror fiction author from Malden, Massachusetts, a small town near the world-famous spooky and historic town of Salem. While Deady always wanted to become an author, he ended up working in the IT field for several years before he picked up his pen once again. For his schooling, he graduated with a mechanical engineering degree but after several years in IT, he went to Southern New Hampshire University from where he graduated with a Masters in Creative Writing and English. He published his debut novel “Haven” in 2017 and the novel went on to achieve critical acclaim and won several awards. The novel won the “Superior Achievement in a First Novel” Bram Stoker Award.
