Author Tochi Onyebuchi is a graduate from Columbia Law School, and has a lot of experience in both international and domestic legal research and work. His fiction work has appeared in such publications as Asimov’s Science Fiction, Nowhere Magazine, and Panverse Three as well as other places. When writing (whether as a columnist, a screenwriter, novelist, or short story writer) he writes about such topics as: the fall of the Soviet Union and organized criminality on an international scale. In the summer of 2013, he served as an intern with a prisoners’ rights organization located in the West Bank. It was here that he helped Palestinian Arab administrative detainees that were denied their due process at the time they were arrested and at their later military trials.
