Susan Stephens

Susan Stephens is a bestselling romance author that was a professional singer before she became an author. She met her husband while holidaying in Malta in the Mediterranean. In true contemporary fashion, they met on a Monday and by Friday they were engaged.

The best place to start is the Latin Lovers series, the earliest of Susan Stephens's multi-book series: it opens with The Blackmailed Bridegroom (1999) and runs to 21 books across 1999–2022, ending with The Secret Baby Revenge (2022). Susan Stephens's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Susan Stephens has 499 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1970 and 2024. 476 of them belong to 32 named series — the largest being the Bedded by Blackmail series with 22 books — and 23 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Susan Stephens's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Latin Lovers (1999–2022, 21 books), Red-Hot Revenge (2000–2008, 14 books) and Foreign Affairs (2001–2012, 22 books), plus 24 more.

This guide splits Susan Stephens's 499 books into 32 named series and 23 titles that stand alone or appear only in collections: Bedded by Blackmail (22 books, 2003–2009); Italian Husbands (22 books, 2002–2009); Foreign Affairs (22 books, 2001–2012); Latin Lovers (21 books, 1999–2022); Surrender to the Sheikh (17 books, 2001–2008), plus 27 further series.
