Susan Cox

Susan Cox is a cozy mystery author from Florida though she says that she is lucky to be at home in both Florida and California. Cox went to the University of San Francisco after which she became a journalist and fundraiser for a number of nonprofit organizations such as the University Of San Francisco School Of Law and the Bar Association of San Francisco. She did this for more than two decades before she decided to quit and become a full-time author.

The best place to start is the Theo Bogart Mysteries series, the earliest of Susan Cox's multi-book series: it opens with The Man on the Washing Machine (2015) and runs to 2 books across 2015–2017, ending with The Man in the Microwave Oven (2017).

Susan Cox has 27 books catalogued in this guide, published between 2015 and 2025. 25 of them belong to 2 named series — the largest being the Theo Bogart Mysteries series with 2 books — and 2 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Susan Cox's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Theo Bogart Mysteries (2015–2017, 2 books).
