During this time he led various visit, board, search, and seizure operations as the main operation officer in the Arabian Gulf. He directed close air support, as the main forward air controller assigned to specialized Marine Corps unit. This amazing experience in military work has heavily contributed to his writing style and made it unique among other writers. His journey around the world has also played a major contribution in his writing skills. He has travelled the world for two years on duty in Japan, which makes more than twenty countries that he has travelled across Asia, and the Middle East.
