Shirley Karr is the author of many Regency novels, including the Scandalous Ladies series. She has always loved Regency things, ever since she was a child. Her father was in the Air Force and his career took their family to England for four years. While they were there, they visited lots of museums, castles, and historic houses, while also living in housing that was centuries old themselves. Shirley resides in the Pacific Northwest area along with her spouse, her husband who she met while on a blind date and five months later got married to him. They have a son and many different four legged family members. To relax, she loves growing tomatoes, and making her own jewelry with gemstones and pearls.
