Shirlee McCoy

Shirlee McCoy is American bestselling author popularly known for Lakeview and heroes for hire series. The author love for writing is indefinable, and as a young girl she would make up story tales in which she was strong, gutsy and invincible and then acted them out with her sisters. Even though McCoy soon grew out of her superhero fantasy, her passion for storytelling never diminished in any means.

The best place to start is the Lakeview series, the earliest of Shirlee McCoy's multi-book series: it opens with Still Waters (2003) and runs to 7 books across 2003–2008, ending with Lakeview Protector (2008). Shirlee McCoy's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.
