Sara Mackenzie is the pseudonym of Australian historical romance novelist Kaye Dobbie. Writing as Sara Mackenzie, she writes some critically acclaimed works of fiction in the time travel and paranormal romance genres. She is particularly known for the Immortal Warriors series which combines elements of historical fiction, fantasy, and romance. Mackenzie published Return of the Highlander the debut novel of the Immortal Warriors series of novels in 2006. She has since published at least two more titles in the series. When she made the Immortal Warriors series a success, she spun off The Hellfire Club, a trilogy she launched with Lorne which she released in 2017 that introduced new storylines and characters and brought her even more fans and readers.
