ⓘ About S.M. Gaither
S.M. Gaither is an American author of fantasy and romance novels. She is the author of the Shadows and Crowns series, the Serpents and Kings series, the Shift Chronicles series, and the Drowning Empire series. When Gaither was a kid she would often play video games like Final Fantasy and read books instead of doing her homework. Her adult life wasn’t much different and she made it her life’s goal to write books. The author has said that she wants for the books to help distract others from their life’s obligations as well so they can be similar to how she was as a child and thus create some like-minded procrastinators. Gaither makes her home in North Carolina with her husband, their daughter, and their pet dog.
