ⓘ About Ruth Reid
Ruth Reid is ECPA and CBA best-selling writer and a full-time pharmacist. She began her fascination for the Amish after skipping college classes to watch a barn raising. She wrote her debut novel, The Promise of an Angel, out of curiosity about the Amish barn raising. Even though it wasn’t what she needed, she needs for a solution and, for once, thought God was opening a door for her. She knows she’ll be starting over in a new place with an older husband, but she’s ready to be a good wife and mother to Hannah, Josiah’s daughter. She’s a bad feeling about her pregnancy as she struggles to bond with her baby. Josiah had a young family until his wife passed away, leaving him an eight-year-old deaf daughter. Even though she agreed to marry, he doesn’t believe he will ever love her again.
