Rose grew up to be a reader of just about everything that she could physically get in her hands while living in the rural Nova Scotia area where she was born and grew up. She currently is the proud owner of an overactive imagination. Once she even fell off her house roof in an attempt to re-enact a part of Anne of Green Gables. Rose says that ever since she has continued to be foolhardy in an entertaining way, attending and graduating from theater school in New York City, becoming an apprentice at a French patisserie, and working at night as a bartender and an usher while in Toronto.
