Rachael Johns is a fiction writer and an English teacher. She is a best selling author and the ABIA-winning author of The Patterson Girls as well as a number of other romance and women’s fiction novels that include The Other Bridget, Talk to the Heart, and more. She has won the Romance Writers of Australia RUBY Award twice. When she is not writing, you can find her reading, sewing, hanging with her Sheepadoodle or listening to audiobooks while she is driving around or busy cleaning up after her three teenage boys. The only television show that she watches is Farmer Wants a Wife. Every year she says that she is going to read more nonfiction but fails at it simply because there are too many good novels out there waiting to be read. Rachael resides in the Swan Valley of Western Australia. She
