Parke Godwin

Parke Godwin was an American published author recognized for his lyrical style of prose and humor. Parke was born on January 28, 1929 in New York City. Today he is recognized for fantasy novels and stories of legendary figures that have been put into historical settings that are fairly realistic.

The best place to start is the Firelord series, the earliest of Parke Godwin's multi-book series: it opens with Firelord (1980) and runs to 3 books across 1980–1985, ending with The Last Rainbow (1985). Parke Godwin's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Parke Godwin has 95 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1976 and 2022. 74 of them belong to 9 named series — the largest being the W.I.T.C.H. series with 27 books — and 21 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.
