Miranda Lee

Miranda Lee is an Australian author of contemporary romance novels that has written over 75 novels in the genre. Miranda was born in Port Macquarie, New South Wales in Australia, the last of four siblings. Her mother was a talented dressmaker and her father was a brilliant sportsman and a teacher at the local country school.

The best place to start is the Forbidden! series, the earliest of Miranda Lee's multi-book series: it opens with A Daughter's Dilemma (1992) and runs to 13 books across 1992–1998, ending with Hot Surrender (1998). Miranda Lee's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Miranda Lee has 455 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1970 and 2022. 417 of them belong to 29 named series — the largest being the Australians series with 37 books — and 38 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Miranda Lee's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are McLean-Carstairs (1991–1993, 2 books), Forbidden!
