Maz Evans is a British author. She is known for writing books for children but also writes for adults! She started out writing in journalism, working as a television critic as well as a feature writer. During the course of her career, she has written for several different national titles. She is also regularly on The Jeremy Vine Show as a pundit. Maz has been a creative writing lecturer. She then decided that she would found Story Stew. This is a creative writing program that has made its way to different primary schools as well as different literary festivals in the United Kingdom. She also has founded Book Buddy, which has the goal of getting more books placed into various school libraries. The author is married and shares four children with her husband.
