🎯 Where Should I Start?
ⓘ About Mary Davis
Mary leads two critique groups, one is an online critique group and one in the local Colorado area. Mary regularly attends the ACFW conference and her local writing chapter in the Springs, and she’s spearheaded a writing contest for youth for several years. Mary finds that a contract with a looming deadline is a very strong inspiration to write. When she doesn’t have a contract, a new idea will inspire her. Things that she learns as she’s researching can spark a story or character, and she imagines what the story would be. Things people say, dreams, and the dude crossing the street as she’s waiting at a red light. Who is he and where’s he going? Inspiration is everywhere. “The Captain’s Heart” is the first stand alone novel and was released in 2008.
