Margaret Daley

Margaret Daley has been writing books since the late 1970s. She started writing as a means of seeing if she could actually complete a full-length book. Over the years she has worked to produce some interesting books and has learned among many other writers about the tricks of the trade.

The best place to start is The Ladies of Sweetwater Lake series, the earliest of Margaret Daley's multi-book series: it opens with Gold in the Fire (2004) and runs to 5 books across 2004–2006, ending with Tidings of Joy (2006). Margaret Daley's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Margaret Daley has 186 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1983 and 2021. 163 of them belong to 28 named series — the largest being the Tiny Blessings series with 12 books — and 23 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Margaret Daley's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are The Ladies of Sweetwater Lake (2004–2006, 5 books), Tiny Blessings (2005–2007, 12 books) and Faith At The Crossroads (2006, 5 books), plus 22 more.

This guide splits Margaret Daley's 186 books into 28 named series and 23 titles that stand alone or appear only in collections: Tiny Blessings (12 books, 2005–2007); Strong Women, Extraordinary Situations (11 books, 2011–2017); Rodeo Knights (10 books, 2015–2017); Capitol K-9 Unit (8 books, 2015); Texas K-9 Unit (7 books, 2013), plus 23 further series.
