Lynsay Sands

This series is about a Canadian family called the Argeneaus who also happen to be a bunch of vampires. There are twenty books in the series that feature different members of the Argeneaus as they find romance, search for their life mates, and deal with hunters who want them dead. The first story in the series follows Lissiana Argeneau, a member of the family that has an interesting psychological phenomenon in that she faints whenever she sees blood.

The best place to start is the Deed series, the earliest of Lynsay Sands's multi-book series: it opens with The Deed (1997) and runs to 3 books across 1997–2004, ending with The Chase (2004). Lynsay Sands's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Lynsay Sands has 88 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1997 and 2025. 69 of them belong to 7 named series — the largest being the Argeneau/Rogue Hunter series with 39 books — and 19 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Lynsay Sands's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Deed (1997–2004, 3 books), Argeneau/Rogue Hunter (2003–2025, 39 books) and B.L.I.S.S. (2003, 3 books), plus 4 more.

This guide splits Lynsay Sands's 88 books into 7 named series and 19 titles that stand alone or appear only in collections: Argeneau/Rogue Hunter (39 books, 2003–2025); Highland Brides (12 books, 2013–2024); McNachton Vampires (6 books, 2005–2011); Deed (3 books, 1997–2004); B.L.I.S.S. (3 books, 2003), plus 2 further series.
