By the time she left school she had two embarrassingly bad but finished novels. She worked first as a secretary (where she wrote stories when she was supposed to be typing up letters) and later, after she moved to London to write blurbs for paperbacks, which was more her type of thing. She continued writing and when she was 20 years old got her first full-length novel published. In 1975, she moved to London and worked in publishing before becoming a full time writer in 1977. In 1977, with 6 novels now published, even if they weren’t quite bestsellers, she went freelance and supplemented her writing income with proofreading and copy editing. Louise became a prolific writer of fantasy, and was renowned for “Time Master” trilogy. She published over eighty fantasy and supernatural novels, both
