Kristin Billerbeck is a bestselling chick lit novelist credited for bringing the genre into the Christian market. Earlier in her life, she earned her advertising and marketing degree and would then become a freelance writer. During this period, she wrote all manner of marketing materials including web/blog content, press releases and marketing copy in addition to collateral marketing materials. She would later become a marketing director and did the marketing for several malls in Silicon Valley. Billerbeck published “Strong as the Redwood,” her debut novel in 1997 and since then has become one of the most prolific authors in the chick lit genre.. She now has more than 40 published titles in addition to three non fiction works that she ghost wrote.
