ⓘ About Kimbra Swain
Kimbra’s writing is influenced by all kinds of writers like Jim Butcher, J.R.R. Tolkien, Timothy Zahn, Kevin Hearne, L. M. Montgomery, and Kathy Reichs. She was born and raised in Alabama, and lives there with her husband and daughter. When Kimbra is not busy with writing or reading, she makes jewelry, plays computer games, and builds cars. The idea for “The Path to Redemption” began with Abigail, one of the main characters. She has seen quite a lot about the female type in fantasy. For a number of years, the female type was mainly the damsel in distress. But then, there was a push back, with wonderful kickass ladies emerging that were the complete opposite of the damsels. With Abigail, Kimbra was hoping to do two things.
