Katie Lumsden is an accomplished published author. She was thirteen years old when she first read Jane Eyre, and from there she never turned back. Katie spent her years as a teen getting into every type of nineteenth century literature book that she could find. She would read every single Austen, Dickens, Gaskell, and Hardy novel that she could get her hands on, and her love for literature has not dimmed as the years have gone on. Katie has a degree in English literature and history that she received from the University of Durham. She also attended Bath Spa University where she received her MA in creative writing.
