Karen Clarke is the author of multiple works of fiction but is best known for her psychological thrillers that are usually an exploration of the darker side of relationships and life. Karen was born and brought up in the North Yorkshire town of Scarborough, but she has now been living with her husband and children in Buckinghamshire for years. She published her debut novel “Being Brooke Simmons,” her debut novel in 2014 and has been writing ever since. Even at that very young age when she used to read every day, she always had a conscious urge to write, which probably had its roots in her love of reading. Since she was very little, she always had in her mind the story of a lonely young fox and when she was eleven, she had one of her poems published in the comic Judy.
