🎯 Where Should I Start?
ⓘ About Joe Ide
His favorite books were Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes stories. The mere idea that a person was able to face the world and vanquish his enemies with only his intelligence fascinated young Joe. Eventually, Joe went on to university and got a graduate degree in education. He worked as a college lecturer, a school teacher, a corporate middle manager and director of an NGO that offered up paralegal services and emergency shelter to abused women and kids. He went on to write screenplays for a number of the major studios however none of them came to fruition. It was then that he decided to write “IQ”, his debut novel, about an underground and unlicensed detective, which was inspired by his early experiences and love of Sherlock Holmes.
