He is the writer of the screenplay Blood In, Blood Out, and has appeared as himself in a documentary called Def Poetry. Baca was born on January 2, 1952. He was born in the city of Santa Fe. This is of course located in the state of New Mexico in the United States. He is of Chicano as well as Apache descent. Baca first officially came into print as an author with the release of his fictional novel. The book came out for readers to enjoy for the first time in 2009 and garnered him a lot of praise. He also has several collections of poetry out.
