About the Author

Jill grew up close to the beach in Hewlett, New York with her two sisters, parents, various birds, fish, and dogs and a whole bunch of books. She wrote her first story when she was about three years old. The story was about a magical cat named Stacey, who would turn people into mats. Jill feels that it was not all that good, but she had a fun time writing it, or so she has been told. She did the illustrations for the story too. As she looks at the pictures these days, she has a tough time telling the difference between the mats, the cats, and the people. Throughout elementary school, she stapled pieces of paper together to make books, and wrote stories on these pages. She often asked her buddies to illustrate them. She wrote about her grandparents, aliens, historical figures. She even wrot. Jill Santopolo is the author of over 20 books across 6 series. Their most famous work is the Publication Order of Alec Flint, Super Sleuth Books series, which has garnered millions of readers worldwide. With such a prolific career, Jill Santopolo has established themselves as one of the most influential authors in contemporary fiction.
