After his first exposure to forensic medicine as he served in the US Navy, Dr. Jerry practiced medicine for more than 35 years and was Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut Medical School. A former Chief of Staff at a major teaching hospital and a Yale graduate, he served as a Connecticut state senator and ran for the United States Senate and for the Governor of Connecticut.
