While on maternity leave, she wrote her first book. It was titled Bridesmaids. When it was released in 2008, it became an instant bestseller and paved the way for more. It was also nominated in the Comedy Romance category for a Melissa Nathan Award. The book introduces Evie, who is 27 years old and works as a journalist. She has a sparkling personality and does her best to be a good bridesmaid and friend to her friend Grace on her wedding day. Jane Costello didn’t rest.
