🎯 Where Should I Start?
ⓘ About Jaclyn Moriarty
Jaclyn Moriarty is an Australian published author of fiction. She is known for writing novels for young adults. The author was raised in Sydney, Australia. She had four sisters and a brother, and their home had two dogs and a dozen chickens. She recounts that most of the kids enjoyed telling stories and their father would pay them for writing. If the kids filled up an exercise book to the end with words, they would get a dollar fifty each. It was perhaps no surprise that Jaclyn ended up finishing her first book at just seven years old. She does admit that it was inspired by Enid Blyton and the story was about toys that could talk. The story ended with the toys getting into a fight, and her aunt said the story was good but perhaps did not think so.
