🎯 Where Should I Start?
ⓘ About Haruichi Furudate
Haruichi Furudate is a very well-known and popular Manga artist who made his name with the “Haikyu” series. The comic artist and author was born in Iwate Prefecture, Japan in 1983. Even though he is one of the most popular Manga creators in the world there is very little known about him, particularly in the Western world. Furudate spent much of his childhood in Iwate Prefecture but after he graduated from high school, he spent nearly ten years in Miyagi Prefecture. Some of the locations where he used to live as a child and young adult would become the inspiration for his most famous volleyball anime. For the most part, he set the show in Miyagi since he has said that he was not that familiar with Iwate where he was born and spent his childhood as compared to the former.
