H. Mitchell Caldwell is an accomplished author and has quite a bit of experience in the legal field in addition to writing his own detailed and informed legal thrilers. He is a law professor teaching at the Pepperdine/Caruso School of Law. He instructs others on criminal law, criminal procedure, as well as trial advocacy. He was able to write in areas of his expertise extensively and throughout the course of his career has had over forty of his law review articles published. He has also written, along with other authors, several trial advocacy textbooks. These extend to The Art and Science of Trial Advocacy, which have been adopted by various law schools across the United States.
