About the Author
Gwynne considers herself a humanitarian, something she inherited from her mom, a high school principal, and which she attributes to her education and work in the social sciences, more specifically, her work in demography. She is widely published as a demographer. Gwynne served for four years as chairperson of the International Programme Committee of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (London, England). She was once a chief of (non-medical) research in family planning and fertility in the Population Division of the United Nations in New York. Both of the positions took her on official business to sixty-three developing and developed countries. She holds masters and bachelors degrees in sociology as well as a master’s in economics/demography and some additional graduate credits. Gwynne Forster is the author of over 46 books across 7 series.
