Greg Cox

Writing science-fiction novels that tie-in with popular media franchises, the American author Greg Cox is a master within his particular field. One the best at what he does, he's able to build upon the characters and narratives of many popular series, expanding upon the canon in a manner that's respectful to the original franchises. This has lead to him having one of the most lucrative careers in the business, seeing him as one of the leading practitioners of his craft.

The best place to start is the Terminator Salvation series, the earliest of Greg Cox's multi-book series: it opens with The Art of Terminator Salvation by Tara Bennett (1775) and runs to 6 books across 1775–2010, ending with Terminator Salvation: Trial by Fire (2010). Greg Cox's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.
