About the Author
Glen Cook was born in New York City in 1944. His love for writing began when he was in grade school and high school, writing occasional articles for his school’s newspaper. After High School, Glen enlisted in the US Navy and left later to join college. He worked his way through college, leaving him with a little time for writing. Later on, he started working for the General Motors. It was at this time when he started writing earnestly. During this time, he wrote as many as three books a year. Cook is the brains behind The Chronicles of a Black Company. The series follows an elite mercenary unit through its adventures for several decades of its history. The series was such a success that it went on to become a cult classic, especially among service men and ex-service men. Apart from T. Glen Cook is the author of over 65 books across 11 series. Their most famous work is the Publication Order of Instrumentalities of the Night Books series, which has garnered millions of readers worldwide. With such a prolific career, Glen Cook has established themselves as one of the most influential authors in contemporary fiction.
