Gervase Phinn

Gervase Phinn is one of the most popular authors from England, who specializes in writing his books based on the Children's Books, Biographies & Memoirs, and Literature & Fiction genres. He has written a total of three famous novel series in his writing career. One among them is known as 'The Dales Series', which is very much successful all around the world.

The best place to start is the Puffin Poetry series, the earliest of Gervase Phinn's multi-book series: it opens with Quick, Let's Get Out of Here (1983) and runs to 15 books across 1983–2015, ending with Poetry Pie (2015). Gervase Phinn's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Gervase Phinn has 68 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1983 and 2022. 30 of them belong to 5 named series — the largest being the Puffin Poetry series with 15 books — and 38 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Gervase Phinn's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Puffin Poetry (1983–2015, 15 books), The Dales Non-Fiction (1998–2007, 5 books) and Little Village School (2011–2016, 5 books), plus 2 more.
