Erin Hunter

Victoria “Vicky” Holmes was born on July 7, 1974 and grew up in an England farm. She has great horsemanship skills and by two years old, she already knows how to ride a horse. Growing up, she loved to read books and even started writing and creating fiction stories as well.

The best place to start is the Warriors series, the earliest of Erin Hunter's multi-book series: it opens with Into the Wild (2003) and runs to 6 books across 2003–2005, ending with The Darkest Hour (2005). Erin Hunter's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Erin Hunter has 169 books catalogued in this guide, published between 2003 and 2027. 168 of them belong to 30 named series — the largest being the Warriors Super Edition series with 19 books — and 1 is a standalone title, collection or anthology.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Erin Hunter's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Warriors (2003–2005, 6 books), Warriors: The New Prophecy (2005–2006, 6 books) and Warriors Super Edition (2007–2026, 19 books), plus 27 more.

This guide splits Erin Hunter's 169 books into 30 named series and 1 title that stands alone or appear only in collections: Warriors Super Edition (19 books, 2007–2026); Warriors Short Stories/Novellas (13 books, 2012–2021); Survivors (13 books, 2012–2018); Warriors (6 books, 2003–2005); Warriors: The New Prophecy (6 books, 2005–2006), plus 25 further series.
