Eric Meyer

Eric Meyer is a British author with over thirty detective and military fiction novels to his name. Writing about political intrigue and military type fiction comes easy to him given his varied professional background. He graduated from the University College, Cardiff as a political science major before serving in the Royal Marines Reserve as a Commando where he rose through the ranks to Colour Sergeant.

The best place to start is the Devil's Guard series, the earliest of Eric Meyer's multi-book series: it opens with Blood & Snow (2010) and runs to 6 books across 2010–2012, ending with Afghanistan (2012). Eric Meyer's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Eric Meyer has 227 books catalogued in this guide, published between 2010 and 2026. 224 of them belong to 40 named series — the largest being the SEAL Team Bravo: Black Ops series with 16 books — and 3 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Eric Meyer's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Devil's Guard (2010–2012, 6 books), Gabriel De Sade (2011–2012, 4 books) and Arcadian Jihad (2011, 2 books), plus 37 more.

This guide splits Eric Meyer's 227 books into 40 named series and 3 titles that stand alone or appear only in collections: SEAL Team Bravo: Black Ops (16 books, 2012–2019); Heroes of Vietnam (13 books, 2020); Special Operations (13 books, 2017–2021); Heroes of the Pacific (12 books, 2020–2021); Heroes of World War II (12 books, 2021–2026), plus 35 further series.
