She began writing in 2005 when she entered a short story competition that she went on to win. By December, she had written and staged her debut musical and a few months later signed a book deal with Dodder that resulted in the novel “Crazy For You” published in 2007. In addition to her novels, she has written more than seventy educational plays and short films and also served as a ghostwriter for Philomena Begley a country legend. She was also responsible for “Born For The Road” the story of Nathan Carter that made the shortlist for the 2018 Post Irish Book Awards. Emma is also a regular contributor to the Sunday Li.
