Emily lives with Kinsey (a dog, who is named after Kinsey Millhone, Sue Grafton’s character), and her husband Sean on their boat in Philadelphia. She loves to travel and pursues adventure with as much of her time as she can. She was born in Philadelphia and would move to Moscow when she was only two years old. Her dad worked as a correspondent for the Philadelphia Inquirer and wound up stationed in the Soviet Union. The KGB sprinkled her whole family with something called spy dust, which allowed them to track the family. It might explain some of her ideas. Her earliest memories come from Moscow. Her brother and her lived an existence that entirely oblivious to all the danger and turmoil that existed all around them. She was never as safe as she was when she wandered Moscow’s st. Emily Kimelman is the author of over 30 books across 4 series. Their most famous work is the Publication Order of The Sydney Rye Mysteries Books series, which has garnered millions of readers worldwide.
