Emily Franklin is an American author of fiction. She first became a published author with the release of her debut book, The Principles of Love. Emily lives in Boston with her husband and their children and loves spending time with them when she is not writing or spending time a good book. When she was little she wanted to be a doctor that sang and tap danced and also wrote books. However, finding out early in life that she was not much of a dancer, she decided to leave tap dancing behind forever. When she was older, she decided to attend Oxford University. As an undergraduate she received her degree in neuroscience as well as writing from Sarah Lawrence College. After graduating, she thought that she would be working in medicine.
