Donna Grant

Donna Grant was born and raised in the Texas/Louisiana border. As a child she had a dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer and wanted to work under her idol, the phenomenal Mikhail Baryshnikov. Although Donna Grant never managed to meet Mikhail Baryshnikov, she did manage to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

The best place to start is the Druids Glen series, the earliest of Donna Grant's multi-book series: it opens with Highland Mist (2006) and runs to 6 books across 2006–2019, ending with Dragonfyre (2019). Donna Grant's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.

Donna Grant has 173 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1996 and 2026. 148 of them belong to 20 named series — the largest being the Dark Kings series with 35 books — and 25 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Donna Grant's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Druids Glen (2006–2019, 6 books), The Shields (2006–2007, 5 books) and Sisters of Magic (2008–2012, 3 books), plus 17 more.

This guide splits Donna Grant's 173 books into 20 named series and 25 titles that stand alone or appear only in collections: Dark Kings (35 books, 2012–2022); Reapers (16 books, 2015–2023); Dragon Kings (13 books, 2021–2026); Dark Warriors (10 books, 2012–2022); Skye Druids (9 books, 2022–2026), plus 15 further series.
