David W. Wright

He used to dream of drawing comics and writing stories while in class, just as he got lost in the likes of Berkeley Breathed, Stephen King, Bill Watterson, Clive Barker, Charles Schulz and Dean Koontz. During his teenage years and his twenties, he worked a range of clerical and retail jobs but never gave up the dream of becoming an author. During this time, he used to write “Todd and Penguin,” an online comic strip for the better part of a decade.

The best place to start is the Yesterday's Gone series, the earliest of David W. Wright's multi-book series: it opens with Yesterday's Gone: Season One (2011) and runs to 6 books across 2011–2015, ending with Yesterday's Gone: Season Six (2015). David W. Wright's other series stand alone, so they can be read in any order.
