About David Pepper
David Pepper is an adjunct professor, lawyer, former elected official, writer, political activist, and former chairman of the Democratic Party in Ohio between 2015 and 2021. The author was born and brought up in Cincinnati and loves to refer to himself as a fifth-generation Cincinnatian. David went to Yale University in his earlier years, where he graduated Magna cum laude before he went to the Yale School of Law, from where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. In his role as chairman of Ohio Democrats, he got involved in extensive litigation and numerous fight over election laws and voter suppression. From that work, David was featured in the documentary “All In,” which highlighted the nationwide fight for voting rights by Stacey Abrams.
