Cynthia C. DeFelice

She was born in 1951 in Philadelphia. When she was a child, she was always reading something. Summer break always started with a trip to the bookstore, where she and her brothers and sister were allowed to select books for their summer reading.

The best place to start is the Ghost Mysteries series, the earliest of Cynthia C. DeFelice's multi-book series: it opens with The Ghost of Fossil Glen (1998) and runs to 4 books across 1998–2007, ending with The Ghost of Poplar Point (2007).

Cynthia C. DeFelice has 125 books catalogued in this guide, published between 1952 and 2015. 102 of them belong to 4 named series — the largest being the Ghost Mysteries series with 4 books — and 23 are standalone titles, collections or anthologies.

Read each series in publication order — the numbered entries in each series follow the year each book first appeared. Cynthia C. DeFelice's series do not depend on one another, so they can be started in any order; by start date they are Nathan Fowler (1991–2006, 2 books), Devil's Bridge (1994–2000, 2 books) and Ghost Mysteries (1998–2007, 4 books).

This guide splits Cynthia C. DeFelice's 125 books into 4 named series and 23 titles that stand alone or appear only in collections: Ghost Mysteries (4 books, 1998–2007); Devil's Bridge (2 books, 1994–2000); Nathan Fowler (2 books, 1991–2006); Avon Camelot (94 books, 1952–2003).
